Our portfolio contains a range of web sites, from the standard sites starting at £349 to the premium web sites designed precisely to your specifications, starting at £799. As well as a range of web design services, we also create E-Commerce web sites, product catalogues and optimise web sites for search engines(SEO). If you would like Cotswold Web Services to design your web site, but would like to do your own updates, we will create a content management system (CMS) to your needs or provide training to make your own updates to source code. Once you have taken ownership of your web site the source code is yours. Therefore, if you would like to do all of your own updates everything is there for you.

About our web sites

All domains will be registered in your name and you we will always give you a full copy of the code used to create your web site upon request. This means that you will be under no obligation to use our services once we have produced the web site for you. However, we have an excellent customer service record. Not one customer has moved elsewhere yet.

How We Work

Depending on requirements and budget, the first step is normally to decide on the "look and feel" of your web site. We will discuss web designs, colour options and ask you what you would like from a web site. Once you are happy with the web site design, the next step is to decide on the structure of your site. Many web designs are based on the standard pages: home, about us, contact us, services, products and customer recommendations. There are a number of pages we may recommend having, including: site map, terms and conditions, privacy, email updates and links.

The size of your site will also determine the level of documentation that we provide. For the large business sites we will produced a detailed proposal, for smaller sites a summary document is all that may be required.

Why have a web site?

A web site is a great way of attracting new customers and really useful for your existing customer base whether you supply a product or a service. There's loads of useful information we can put on a web site, including where to find you, how to contact you, the products and services you have on offer, and it only costs £7 to have your own domain name.
